Heary's Hoof Hearted Farm is nestled in the foot hills of the Allegany Plateau Region of Western New York. We are located on approximately 180 acres of lush land just East of Lake Erie. This property has been in the hands of the family for over four generations, originally utilized for dairy farming. The story has it that my great great grandfather, Phil Heary, got off of a boat in Buffalo, NY and walked 30 miles south with a 100 lb sack of corn on his back to settle in the Springville area. O'Heary was the true Irish name for the family but the prefix of "O" was dropped when entering this country, leaving us with the last name of Heary. Since the 1970's farming on the property has become a hobby rather than a primary source of income. Now the property is utilized for raising jacob sheep, maple syrup production and making hay.
